Welcome to Mrs. Bishop's Third Grade Class

Hello, welcome to Mrs. Bishop’s third grade class. My name is Karen Bishop and this is my second year as a teacher at Valley View Elementary.

I graduated from Covenant College in December 2006. Prior to coming to Valley View I worked for several years at Oak Grove Elementary where my children went to school. I have worked in the office, the library, and also as a Kindergarten Assistant for three years.

My husband is Alvin; he works at Cleveland State Community College. We have two children, Cassondra, a sophomore at Bradley Central High School and Justin, a seventh grader at Lake Forest Middle School. We are very active in our church, Shiloh Baptist in Ocoee. We have two dogs, Grady and Buddy.

I am thrilled to be a part of Valley View Elementary and I love teaching third grade. This is really a dream come true for me.
